Happy Earth Day 2009! Mommy and Sophie wore Earth Day shirts and celebrated by spending some time outside in the wonderful weather. We walked Peyton and Sadie home from school. We vow to conserve energy whenever possible by turning off unneeded lights, not standing with the fridge open, keeping our house a little cooler in the winter and a little warmer in the summer, and hope to soon replace some doors and windows. We're going to try to conserve water by bathing once a month. Just kidding. I like a blaster shower, but I do turn off the water when I brush, and we drink water from the tap rather than bottled. Oh, and bonus points for buying organic when I replaced the girls' bedding. * I added a picture of the girls' new bedding from the Wal Mart site. Sadie's room is typically too messy to get a picture of her bedding on her own bunkbeds, but it's cute. Trust me.*We are sure getting excited about doing more earth celebrating when we do our camping this summer! We can't wait.
